Rise Supports
Anxiety We provide education and guidance to help you understand anxiety as a natural response of the nervous system. When we perceive danger, our body’s sympathetic nervous system activates, creating a physical response that helps us move away from danger. This response is appropriate and natural, but when there is no immediate threat, these reactions can feel overwhelming and confusing. In our work together we can help you recognize these signals, understand how they affect your emotions and relationships, and learn practical ways to calm your nervous system using evidence-based approaches. By understanding your body’s responses and practicing regulation skills, you can reconnect with a sense of safety, balance, and confidence, all within a compassionate and supportive space.
Depression Depression can be an all-consuming experience. It can combine a range of emotions, sadness, emptiness, or disconnection. We recognize how deeply depression can affect not just your mood, but your relationships, daily routines, and sense of self. In our work together, we explore the emotional, relational, and life factors that contribute to your experience, while fostering connection, self-compassion, and resilience. Through gentle guidance and a holistic trauma informed approach, we support you in reconnecting with meaning, nurturing your well-being, and taking steps toward renewed hope and balance in your life.
Grief & Loss Grief and loss are unavoidable parts of life that can impact us in many ways and comes in various forms. Grief can arise from the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, loss of health or independence, changes in life circumstances, migration or immigration, or even the loss of dreams and expectations. We understand that each person’s experience of grief is unique, and it can touch your emotions, relationships, and sense of self in deep ways. In our work together, we walk alongside you as you process these feelings, honor your experiences, and explore ways to carry your loss while reconnecting with hope and meaning.
Cancer Care & Chronic Illness Compassionate support can help you navigate the experiences of cancer treatment or living with chronic illness. We recognize that living with illness or supporting those who do can impact different parts of your life—emotional, physical, and relational—bringing moments of fear, loss, and uncertainty. Our sessions offer a safe place to share your story, explore your emotions, and find strength and resilience amid the changes that illness can bring. Whether you’re newly diagnosed, in treatment, adjusting to life after treatment, or supporting a loved one, we’re here to help you navigate this journey with understanding, comfort, and care.
Life Progression & Identity Exploration We offer a welcoming space for those navigating life transitions and exploring their expanding identity. Whether you’re experiencing changes in career, relationships, family life, or other pivotal moments, these shifts can bring both opportunity and uncertainty. Exploring your identity, including your values, beliefs, sexuality, and cultural or spiritual connections can be equally rewarding and challenging. We walk alongside you and create a space for reflection, insight exploration, and strengthening pathways to living as the person you would like to be. Through a supportive and relational approach, we help you embrace personal growth, build confidence, and live in alignment with your authentic self.
